Music Meme
Feb. 22nd, 2007 07:20 pmReply and I'll give you a letter. Find five songs that start with that letter and post them to your journal.
glasskey14 gave me the letter 'G'. Here's what I managed to scrounge up:
1. Getting Away With Murder - Papa Roach \\ The first song I could think of when given the letter. It's a good song, that. ^^
2. Gonna Make It There - Baxter \\ It's my current favorite song! Go Lizzie for picking the letter this one starts with! Hoo-rah! (It's on the CSI: Miami OST.)
3. Grissom's Overture - John M. Keane \\ A good song, orchestral with synthesizer... it's your typical 'in the lab'/'picking up evidence' scene music. (It's on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation OST, duh.)
4. Gypsy Rhapsody - Bond \\ I love this band. I was just listening to them earlier, haha. This is the only one of their songs that starts with a 'G' (on my personal playlist). It's a good song though, no worries!
5. Genius - The Exies \\ Awesome song! Great band! Dude, I love the lyrics to this one. Replace the female pronouns with male ones and it always makes me think of a DW strategist. LOL.
And as a bonus (because I can):
6. Great Warrior - Nobuo Uematsu \\ Beautiful, heart-wrenching song! I couldn't help it; I love FFVII entirely too much. This song and 'Gold Saucer' are the only ones in the entire four CD soundtrack that begin with the letter 'G'. And this one is absolutely wonderful, so it wins a spot on my lj. Because I love Nanaki and his brave, warrior father Seto. ^_^
P.S.- I'm not as cool as Lizzie and can't upload them anywhere for downloading. However, if you ask kindly enough(and I like you) I might consider sending one or two or so to you in an email. ;D

Golden Shiney Wire of Hope
Nov. 24th, 2006 11:50 pm"Oh yea? Well to me it looks like a golden shiney wire of hope." -Barret from FFVII
I absolutely love this quote. It's always stuck in my mind as a wonderfully typical Barret thing to say. It's so amusing it's not even funny. I've even tried to use it as a reference in conversation before. Least to say no one got it, but it felt good anyway. XD
So, yea... I'm currently re-playing FFVII right now. It's beautiful. I love it. I always will, but I just have to say that. ^^ Even though it's graphics are old and I've played it a million times, I will never, ever grow tired of it. It's simply too awesome.
And when I'm not playing FFVII for the umpteenth time through, I'm engaged in Ookami. That game also simply just rocks. I love it to death! It is very beautiful, art- and music-wise, as well as story. And the amusement of playing as a pretty white wolf will never cease to keep me happy. I love Ammy. She's such a fun character. And it's just plain fun.

Teleportation At Its Worst
Sep. 4th, 2006 09:07 pmAll right, time for another dream. This is one that I had some time back and told a brief snippet to Erin. She has been waiting forever now for me to write it out more completely. It's Halo, RedvsBlue, FFVII, and some friends of mine together for some weirdness. And stupidity. Can't forget the stupidity.
( You can keep him, but just remember you'll have to take proper care of him. )
Yea, apparently I decided to write it in a fanfic-story type format. It reads like a stupidity-humor oneshot. Umm.... have fun?

I've been playing DoC for the past hour or so. I've since come up with these things to note:
( This is everything reminding me of everything. As usual. )

Two Memes Stolen from Lizzie
Jul. 15th, 2006 05:03 pm1. Comment and I'll tell you what fandom I associate with you.
2. I'll tell you what icon I see on my friends list and know it's you.
3. Post this in your own journal so I can see what fandom you associate with me.
( Final Fantasy )
Arg!!! Stupid question!! Add Red XIII's theme in the song section, too! I *LOVE* that song. Duh! He's only my favorite character. Sheesh. Sorry, Red. -_-;

To those that RP:
Jul. 15th, 2006 04:23 pmYo! Check this RPG out. It looks pretty interesting and its very free going with the plot. It's set in its own world, Élisia, which is comprised of all the Final Fantasy worlds as well as the Kingdom Hearts worlds. So cities and towns from any of the games is plausible to existing there. It's basically a crossover of those two series. Have at it:
elisia_rpg -A FF and KH crossover RPG set in Élisia.
It's now affliated to
weapon_rpg--my own RPG that needs some loving, set in the FFVII world but is multifandom.
Join either one please? Both? Great! Now get going!!
