aisuyoukai: (TRON - Connected Forever)
I don't care how many times I read this book, every time 'Zamamee hands over his identity disk I shall forever think of Tron. LOL

Ok, so I finished Nylund's book last night. In fact, that post at about 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning was me finishing up the last, short Epilogue chapter. Heheh. I was about a three-fourths through with it when I started reading last night, but couldn't put it down to go to sleep. So I finished it.

So now I'm finishing my reread of The Flood. I hope to finish the Acorna series after that, with the rereads of the rest of the Halo novels interspersed. I know. I'm weird. ^^

"In the last twelve hours, he's killed me three times." -Jack Potter from A Signal Shattered by Eric S. Nylund.

One day, we will be able to say that. LOL. Well, according to this book! Haha!

Dude, I really love this thing! All the science and shit really hurts my head when they get really into it, but it's totally awesome. And addictive. Nylund writes in a style that keeps you rivetted--you can't put the book down. Everything happens so fast, and it's all exciting. Oh, man. I love it!

But seriously... it's so awesome to say that phrase. Hahahahahaha!

Oh, hell yes! I love Eric Nylund. (The guy that wrote three of the four Halo novels.) He's a really good writer. And he likes lots complexity. Which really hurts my head, but it's totally worth it.

I'm reading A Signal Shattered (sequel to Signal to Noise; Erin, I'm going to make you read them). It's good. That's all I can say. Ok, but here's the fun part. I think Nylund really likes the Eridani system, which I guess makes sense, because it's theoretically capable of sustaining an Earth like planet (right kind of star). But, yea... (and Erin will appreciate this) it's in this book, too. Oh, hellz yea. >XD

Edit: There's another set of planets that are all below freezing on the surface. And the atmosphere is made of nitrogen. If it had been methane... haha.

Edit 2: Speaking of methane!!! There's a planet with that as atmosphere, too! And guess what? It is inhabited!!!! Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kyahahaha. I can't wait until this comes out! Screw Skip the first part and read about the novel. An interview with the arthur, and it sounds cool. I totally agree with his answer to the 'what is the best received part of the books'. I love Captain Keyes and all the Spartans. ^_^

I really, really want this to come out now. It's coming in November though. I can't wait! Oh, and now I'm not sure whether it's following Halo 2 or not. If it does, it kinda sounds like it might be from more than and especially a different person's point of view rather than Master Chief. Maybe a different Spartan or the rest of them all? Hmm. I'm not sure. It depends on whether Onyx is the name of the planet Installation 05(?) was near.... it maybe that's where Gravemind is. I'm thinking he's apart of this... just from reading the back of the book cover. I could be wrong though. And it's very likely knowing me.

Anyway. I really can't wait!!

I am officially in love with Jacob Keyes. He totally kicks ass!!! If you want to know why, read The Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund. If you'd rather spoilers, then ask. I suggest reading it instead though. But go ahead if you have no plans of it.

And to anyone who recognizes the name, yes, it's a Halo novel. It is very good though. I don't care if you hate the game(s). It very well written and kicks much ass. And that's final.
