/DIES OF LAUGHTER

Okay, not the best film I've seen but it was definitely better than the one I watched on Netflex before it. That one was supposed to be good... could have been... the last few minutes of action were nice... but that's just because I like martial arts... but overall sucked due to lack of acting and a solidly built upon plot. Could have been better. But it was Asian so can't always expect much when it's not made by the more well-known people over there. Sorry, guys, but seriously. The one I just finished wasn't much better on the acting or deliverance and not much better on plot either, lol, but just somehow caught and held my attention better. Either that other movie was just that bad or I'm seriously in need of some action to negate permaboredom in my life.

...

Yeah.

Oh, went to go see The Sorcerer's Apprentice again last afternoon. It was absolutely positively worth the 4.75 spent on seeing it again in the theaters. It is so beautiful to watch on the big screen and just wonderful. I like it a little too much probably. Sue me.

But it made me content so there. :|
aisuyoukai: (loneliness of the cat [okami])
Just watched Knowing. I liked it. I don't care if people think the ending is predictable/corny. I still thought it was a good film. I also happen to really like Cage so that helps. Sue me. But still I think I would have liked it anyway.

These are just thoughts I want to get out of my head. Things about the film. Spoilers if you haven't seen it.

Allusion )

That...did not turn out as expected. Ignore that. Please.

Iron Man 2. Squee.
aisuyoukai: (pet assassin [ac])
So, yeah. I loved that movie. Just finished it a bit awhile ago. I know; I'm insane, and I should be in bed. But you know what? I'm extremely hyper after that. Ffffffffffft.

Oh. And guess what Netflix just recommended to me for viewing? "Empires: the Medici" I KID NOT. Apparently these people read minds. Seriously, wtf. How did they manage that? And you know what? I'M ADDING IT TO MY LIST. SO THERE.

Or something.

Oh. They recommended it to me "because you enjoyed: 'Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex'." Waaat. Why not one of the TV shows I just rated. Why not something with a ruling person in it. Why not something that actually makes sense. I don't get it. Why that anime? Fft.

It's just weird.

Not that I supposed I mind. 'Cause I am interested. Heh.

/seriously needs a life

EDIT: I think... I just discovered the absolute worst way to die. Forget being hanged. I just watched him die the worst way ever. Poor, poor man. :\

I need you guys--Tori, Teagan--to watch that one, too, probably. Oh, dear lord, let's just forget the convention and watch retarded movies all weekend long. XDDD

Kidding! I promise! Only, you know...
aisuyoukai: (laughing at you [ac])
Tori. Tori. Tori. Tori Tori Tori Tori TORI TORI TORI.

TORI.

Guess what. |D

Somebody is playing a really crappy assassin hit man in this movie I'm watching right now. Oh, God. I can't stop laughing for some reason. I'm not even sure why.

REMIND ME TO MAKE YOU AND TEAGAN WATCH IT IN BOSTON. OKAY? ALL RIGHT. /o/

Kekekeke. The main character keeps calling him "kid." Giovanni has one thing to say: WHAT IS WITH YOU OLD PEOPLE (that's you, Volpe) AND CALLING HIM AND THE LIKE SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF "KID" OR "FLEDGLING"?

/brb, dying of laughter

Oh man oh man oh man.

I'm a nutcase.

Hey, guys. I'm bored. Come play with my new muse. He's lonely.

In other news.... um, let me think back...
I went and saw Zombieland this weekend. Boy is it freakin' hilarious! I loved it, and I recommend it to anyone! Especially comedy zombie movie lovers. Great, great stuff. And guest star ftw, hell yeah! Was not excepting him--but it was really ironic because me and my friend were just playing that game before we left for the movie theater. ...Then we played it some more when we got back. XD

Uh, what else. Oh, yeah. I got a hopefully kick-ass costume for Halloween this year! Well, I'm looking forward to it at least even if it did cost money. >.> I always want to dress up but hate cheap stuff and am so damn picky. But you know what? I decided to crap out and HAVE SOME GODDAMN FUN this year. We're going to Renfest again this year (I wish he'd stop choosing Halloween to go on though, gdit) and I'll be wearing it there. They're going as the Queen of Ice and King of Fire... and as usual I'm the third wheel (/bricked)... but I'm gonna be their pet demon. XD /retarded.

ANYWAY--

Um. That's it?

WAIT. I SAW THE ELUSIVE BROWN HARE THE OTHER DAY ON OUR WALK. YUSH! ...not that anybody cares or anything... Now the black one has been missing for a few days. Com'on, guys, stop hiding!!

Argh. Fucking headache. It should be illegal to wake up with a headache when you didn't fall asleep with one. Nor drank the night before (or hardly ever in your life for that matter). UGH.

In other news I stumbled upon this the other night. So the rumors about a sequel are true. And it has an official name now, sweet. I shouldn't be nearly as excited about it as I am--BUT DAMNIT I AM. /fangirls so hard.

You have to admit... it looks totally cool! :D

Edit: Also, my mom is talking about upgrading my phone (huzzah!!). My choices are either this or this. Dante says "the red one" (naturally) but I'm wondering if I'll regret it after the first day? It's pretty bright and black is my favorite color. Any opinions?

Also, will continue Aphlabet Meme when I get back from my friend's. (aka, tomorrow or later this weekend) Send in more! I'd like to fill out the whole alphabet! ^^
aisuyoukai: (L4D | Francis - Do It With My Big Shiny)
OMG, WHUT? ARE YOU FOR REAL!?

Zombieland

I just saw a commercial for it. FFFFFT.

...AND I SWEAR THAT ONE ZOMBIE WAS A FRACKIN' BOOMER. NO LIE. AHAHAHAHAHA /DIES

I'm gonna have to post about random shampoo bottle...sayings more often, man. I got a lot of replies for that one. XD

Oh, oh! Ramza-mun~~~! Duuuude, what is your name? /shot. I have something interesting to tell you. I HAD A DREAM. Eheh. It was the other day so memories a little fuzzy buuut--guess what it was about? RAMZA! lollol. It started out as this like icon image stuck in my head (apparently) and then went on from there. I don't remember much, but it had fighting? lol. He was holding a sword in the first image anyway.

Dude, it was weird. I remember waking up and going "...I don't even know anything about this fandom. what the hell was all that?" 'Cause--seriously. I how do you manage to have a dream about someone you don't know? X3

lol. Anyway~! Three posts in a row, aren't you guys proud?

I'll think of something productive to post maybe next time. (YEAH RIGHT.)

P.S.- I just remembered I never posted anything about the last few films I saw. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and.... wow, what did we see before that? Oh, well. I know I didn't post about Up either. Whatever. Both good.
aisuyoukai: (ME | Normandy - Escape)
There really aren't words required. The new Star Trek movie is great. And, damnit, if I didn't love every single one of the 'repeated' quotes from the original series. >XD I never even watched any of those! And of course Scotty was my favorite. Hell, that's why I wanted to see the movie in the first place. Simon Pegg ftw! o/

Chekov was endearing, too. Haha. And Sulu. And Bones. Oh, hell... it was a good movie and I liked the characters. Sheesh. Oh, I liked what they did about the timeline, too. Very interesting. I wonder how many fans are upset though. Or how many younger ones are like "cool! do over!" and excited for more, new continuum. :D

I actually wouldn't mind. Go figure.
aisuyoukai: (Comic | Deadpool - Duct Tape)
Fuck me sideways! Why couldn't it have been that ending I got to see? Duh! It's the only reason I went to see the movie~!

But, yeah. Though I was told they butchered him... they really did. He's kinda...backwards? Like, as far as his mouth goes. lol. THAT'S ONE WAY TO SHUT HIM UP. Nice. It's not a bad movie; in fact, I like it. They just went way out there. I have to admit: I laughed more than anything. It was just so... silly. ^_^

I did have fun. That counts as something, right? Right. So that means its good.

...But there wasn't really any red. ;_;

LOL. It was the only comment I made about him the entire time!! And I did it after the movie, as we were walking through the hallway to get out. And the person I promised I wouldn't maim when I learned how they butchered him was in the bathroom so he didn't hear it. Hehe.

But, boy oh boy did I laugh. >XD

Oh, and I don't know what the hell they did to Gambit? But I actually liked him that way! ^_^ He was cute; could have had a heavier accent though. Oh well!

Now I want a Deadpool movie. A real Deadpool movie, with a real Deadpool. Pleeeeeeeeeeasssse??

Yeah, X-Men Origins: Wolverine gets a thumbs-up from me despite its one major screw up in my fandom.

Oh. And teleporting? So much damn fun. It's just like in the game! Which is always fun, and one of my favorite moves! :D
aisuyoukai: (AC | Altaïr - Welcome Your Death)
It's just me, I'm sure, but ever since seeing Taken (which is really AWESOME, btw! definite recommend, especially if you like action or Liam Neeson... or both! like me, hehe) I keep seeing the same premise in all the TV shows. Law and Order had one on the other day and it amused me. I'm sure that was a re-run seeing as how I don't really watch the new ones of that show. But! Tonight's CSI: NY is a new episode and it's the same premise, too! Haha. (I mean, more or less, of course.) It's amusing. Or.... whatever.

Also--new Criminal Minds was win. I liked that one. I should have moved into the living room quicker--missed the first fifteen minutes. About. They had been playing re-runs, slagit. But it was good. The psychic thing, and the final quote? I liked that.

......aaand I'm done.

*facepalm*

What... the fuck? Batman Sues the Dark Knight. How gay can we get?

Don't answer that.

Yesterday consisted of: five Saw movies in eleven hours straight (more or less). First viewing, too! I'd never seen any of them before so when my friend asked the day before "would you like to go see Saw V?" and I said "yes," he then realized to ask me "you do like the Saw series, right?" of which I replied "haven't seen a single one!" Soo.... Saw marathon on my behalf! Whoo-hoo!

And yes, I actually did enjoy them. I think they probably especially are more enjoyable/make sense when you watch them back-to-back like that. They're so intricate I never once paid attention to any of the other facts going on. (You know, blood and gore and no "good guys" ever living? Oh, wait! That's the kind of shit I like on a daily basis! Oops! My opinion might be biased then. lol.) But, yeah. I like how they fit one to another and stuff. Plus: blood and gore? Oh, yeah.

...And I thought I'd never watch/like them. Haha. My bad!

I saw Igor last night with my friends. It is so cute! I think it's up there with Wall-E, hehe. That could just be because I like "evil" so much. It was cool. And I love Steve Buscemi. (Who doesn't?) And his character was my kind of character. Very much amusing, yes indeedy.

Okay, but that's all I've really got today. I'm not in a very happy mood because stupid LJ just ate my totally awesome post to one of my RPs and... yeah. Not happy.
aisuyoukai: (AC | Altaïr - Welcome Your Death)
I just saw Bangkok Dangerous tonight. It's freakin' awesome. I love Nicolas Cage. Have I mentioned lately how much I love death and blood and destruction? Oh, yeah. I love kick-ass hitmen. I want one. (Neko, shush. I know.)

So, yes. I recommend this to the flist. Without giving anything away, this is a really nice action flick with some emotional attachment thrown in for good measure and it really settles nice in my book as a great movie. ^_^
aisuyoukai: (Comic | Deadpool - Awesomest Awesome)
Dude. Hell yes:

Movie Rumors.

Also: saw Death Race today. Fucking. Awesome. Hell. Yes.

I want to do that one day. Also? Want one. Of what? Yes.
aisuyoukai: (IM | Tony Stark - Fuck Yeah)
Tropic Thunder is the worst movie ever.

...Surprisingly, I don't really feel the need to ask for my money back. XD

By the way, RDJ is surprisingly hot with blond hair and blue eyes. It's mostly the eyes. Definitely. WHY DIDN'T THEY GIVE HIM THOSE CONTACTS FOR IRON MAN?? lol. Oh well.

So, yeah. The beginning is freakin' hilarious. Seriously... why was I laughing so much during the opening "credits"? Hah. Plus... totally dirty minded. (Wut!? It's not entirely my fault! It was a trailer for a gay movie!) My mind got stuck on the fact that it was RDJ and Toby Maguire together. LOLWTF? WHY AM I THINKING OF TONY STARK AND PETER PARKER? OH. I KNOW WHY! HAHAHA.

No, really, shoot me. I'm retarded. But anyway... not exactly a movie I go out recommending... but I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh my ass off during most of it. It was pretty stupid--and pretty funny. And.... RDJ's character totally said a line worthy of a Soviet Russia joke. Seriously. LOLOLOL! HAHAHA!
aisuyoukai: (KKBB | Perry - Profile)
But not of the bad kind. ;D

In the past four days I've seen a total of four movies at the theaters. All new stuff. It's really cool. I just got back from the latest one an hour and a half ago. It was fun. I love this week. lol. Well, weekend. I'm so tired though. I'm still doing a 'I-don't-do-anything-but-sit-around-and-maybe-read-or-play-on-my-laptop' job. Do we see a pattern in my life here? lol. But, yeah, I'm a security guard. And no, it's not as cool as it sounds. It's rather lame. And boring. Oh-so boring. Yes, very very boring. Anyway... it's a job. And somehow I still manage to become tired doing it. Tired from doing a whole lot of nothing. Does that make sense? No, no it doesn't. But it happens anyway. -_-

Oh, right, so the movies. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In this order of those days I went and saw: Hancock, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Get Smart, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. I really enjoyed every single one of them, so I pretty much recommend them all to just about anyone.

Hellboy II is by far my favorite one. I loved it to death. (I'm even thinking about RPing Krauss. Hehe.) It's very epic, but it was not over-the-top like I feared might be the case. It was very beautiful visually, and the story is compelling. Poor Abe. Anyway, it's very very good and I recommend that one to everyone! It's awesome! Oh, and hilarious! >XD

I'm not sure which one I liked better: Journey to the Center of the Earth or Get Smart. They were both really good. Get Smart is freakin' hilarious and I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Same for Journey really, but the former is (obviously) more geared for comedy although the story gets to you; and the latter is more epic with its really funny parts. I'd probably go with the second, but I did just get back from it and its fresh in my mind, and if you don't like over-the-top stuff it isn't the best pick. However, it's a fun movie. And it's not really over-the-top, because I don't like that stuff, and this was smart and good and... well, I'll shut up now. Go see it! Both of them!

Hancock is my least favorite, but that's really a bad way of putting it. It's really good, too. Just out of the four... I like the other ones better. lol. But, it's also the farthest one from my mind because I saw it first. Anyway, I recommend it to just about everyone, too. Although it did go through enough curse words for a PG-13 movie. >_- Mostly the word "asshole" or variances thereof.

Also, whatever week that was that Wall-E came out, I went and saw that that first day it was out. It was awesome! Adorably cute!! Hee! ♥ I loved it! Recommend that to everyone, definitely! :D (Also wouldn't mind playing EVE. She's kick-ass.)

That's about it. Although I've been renting a lot of movies, too. RDJ addict? Me? Never! Haha. Yeah... I am. :P Let's see... here's the list: Zodiac, Good Night, and Good Luck, The Singing Detective, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus, and Air America. The last my friend had, the rest were rented in a span of two weekends. Or was that three? :3 Anyway, those are all the RDJ movies. Here's a few Val Kilmer ones, lol: Spartan and Blind Horizon. I'm working on more. XD Um, then I watched Ocean's Thirteen but I really couldn't tell you what happened. I so wasn't paying attention. DX Oops. Oh well. Uh... I forget what else, if anything. I have the feeling I'm missing something.

Cassandra's Dream! That's what I'm missing. It's another movie I rented. It has Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor in it. It's pretty good. And I love both of those guys. They're so cute. Specially Colin! Whoo! :D

Other than...! I've watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang ten million more times and it's still fucking awesome. I shouldn't be so amused with it after having seen it so many times, but I still am. Whoo!

So I'm in love with this movie called Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. To be more accurate I suppose I'm in love with Robert Downey Jr. right now. He's cute, he's fun, and I think he's a good actor. But this movie is freakin' hilarious, and his character is silly--like, stupid but not really, just always in the wrong place at the wrong time and piecing things together overly-complicated and just generally getting himself into trouble. All that aside, the movie is fun and funny and has a bit of mystery to it. It's graphic, but I can get over that. :P

But really, I need to stop watching RDJ movies 24/7--it's going to kill me or something. lol. But he is so cute. But get this... if people could read my thoughts they'd totally be able to tell I have been watching RDJ movies lately, because my thoughts are in his voice--his inflection, his style, flavor--it's almost annoying, but not really because it's nice sounding... but see, he rants in this specific way... and I rant, but this... it's specific... I couldn't give you a definition, but if I heard I'd recognize it pat. Well, anyway.... I'm nuts, we already know that.

Also, I need to stop paying money for movies when I don't have any damn money for gas, much less movies that require a twenty minute drive to get to! Argh. -is retarded-

But, what can I say, I'm in love. ^^'
